  Purpose:

  • Usage of lab instruments like NanoDrop, Centrifuge Machine of Hettich, Qubit® 2.0 Fluorometer, etc.

  • Preparing agarose gel with TBE Buffer for electrophoresis.

  • Preparing pre-PCR products, using thermocycler for PCR, loading the products to electrophoresis and analyzing the image on UV light. (Mostly for PCR optimization)

  • Isolating DNA with Zinexts’ MagPurix Instrument.

  • Performing Nextera Rapid Capture Enrichment protocol for whole exome sequencing using Illumına’s NextSeq 500 Instrument.

Internship

  Purpose:

  • Preparing agarose gel with TBE Buffer for electrophoresis.

  • Isolating DNA with Roche’s MagNa Pure Compact Instrument.

  • Preparing CVD and FMF Strip Assay Tests by Auto-LiPA 48 Instrument & Analyzing the results of the strip.

  • Performing TruSeq ® library prep for sequencing in Illumına’s Miseq ® Technology.
